REGISTRATION & LOGIN:


Q. Do I need to create an account to use your site?
A. You can review products and even add items to your shopping cart without creating an account or logging in. However, in order to complete any purchase online, you will need to create an account or log in. Once registered and logged in, your checkout is streamlined and future orders are more convenient, you'll have full access to the your order and payment history as well as the CE Test Center to manage your tests and contact hours, and you'll receive notice of our specials and exclusive discounts.


Q. How do I add or delete my name from your email list?
A. All orders placed online automatically add your name to our email list. We do not rent or sell our email addresses; we'll use it only to contact you for customer service correspondence and special B&L offers. If you choose not to receive promotional emails from B&L, simply click the "unsubscribe" link on the bottom of the email and we'll remove your email address from our list.

Q. How do I add or delete my name from your postal mailing list?
A. If you've ordered any of our products, we automatically add your name to our postal mailing list. A few times a year, we'll send offers for our products that we feel will be of interest to you. If you'd like to have your name removed from our postal list, you can do so one of three ways: write "Remove from list" on the Business Reply Card attached to the mailer your received and return it at our expense; call our Customer Service center at 800-625-2666 and ask to have your address removed; or click on Contact Us, and write "Remove from list" in the message box. Be sure to include your name and address so we can find your record.


Q. What do I do if I forget my password?
A. If you've forgotten your password, you'll need to reset it and create a new one by clicking here.

Q. How do I contact Customer Service?
A.You may contact Customer Service three ways:

  • Phone us at 800-625-2666 weekdays between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern. After hours, you can leave a message and we'll call you back the following business day.
  • Fax us at 866-439-4233.
  • Contact Us with your message. We'll reply to your email by the following business day.


 Q. Is it safe to enter my credit card on your site?
A. Our site is guarded by GeoTrust's Equifax Secure Certificate encryption using the latest encryption software to assure your transaction is safe and secure. As an additional safety measure, we don't store your credit card number, so you'll be asked for the credit card number again when you make a future purchase. Make sure you are only enter your credit card information only when prompted during the check out process. Never send your credit card number to us in an email; we will never ask you to do so.


Q. How do I make a payment?
A. You can make a payment three ways: by mail, by phone, or online.

Call 800-625-2666 weekdays between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern and make a payment using your credit or debit card.

Online payment:

Log in to your account (or sign up for a new account if you're a new user) and select "My Account" in the upper right navigation bar, then locate the Online Bill Payment heading and click the "Make a payment" link.

Q. Where do I enter my promotion code?
A. Select "Check Out" when you are ready to make your purchase. The second page of the check out process is the Payment Information page, which has a promo code field where you'll enter the applicable promo code and click "Continue" to apply it. Only one promotion code can only be applied per order. If you have any promotional code questions, please contact Customer Service.


Q. How does your 100% Satisfaction Guarantee work?
A. We guarantee your satisfaction with every DVD and book we sell. You may return your purchase for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase; you are responsible for return postage. We'll refund the full price you paid, excluding shipping &handling. Read "How Do I Return My Purchase?" below for shipping instructions.  NOTE: All video downloads and CE test sales are final. Read "May I get a refund for a video I downloaded?" below for more details.


Q. Where do I return my purchase?

We recommend using a traceable service (such as FedEx, UPS, or U.S. Mail with Delivery Confirmation) as proof of return shipment; you are responsible for return postage. So we can properly credit your account, include your invoice or account number with your return. Upon receipt of your return, we'll credit your account with the retail price of the product, less shipping and handling.

Q. How do I request special delivery options?
A. All standard orders are shipped by USPS. If you need special delivery options such as next day delivery, please call Customer Service at 800-625-2666 weekdays between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern.  All next day delivery requests must be received by 3:00 PM Eastern to guarantee delivery.

Q. What is My Time, My Schedule™?
A. My Time, My Schedule™ is a stress-free way for the busy nurse who wants a complete DVD series but needs a convenient and budget-conscious way to purchase it. When you place an order for any DVD series using the My Time, My Schedule™ option, we'll ship you the first title from the series you chose. As with all our DVDs, it's yours to preview risk-free. You'll receive the next DVD title in the series, at the same price with the same risk-free preview, about every 4 weeks until the series is complete. There are no billing hassles since we automatically charge your credit card when we ship your next DVD. If you want the series to arrive in a particular order, call Customer Service and we'll even customize the delivery sequence for you. There are no additional charges to be enrolled in My Time, My Schedule™, and every DVD is covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee: if at any time you are not completely satisfied, you can simply unenroll, without any further obligation.


Q. How do I cancel my participation in My Time, My Schedule™?
A. We hope you'll want to remain a satisfied customer, and we're available at 800-625-2666 if you have any concerns we can address. However, you can cancel your My Time, My Schedule™ enrollment at any time by:
  • Contacting Customer Service by mail, phone, or email requesting unenrollment. Please provide your full name and address.
  • Returning the DVD within the 30 day preview and writing "cancel" on your invoice. We'll refund your credit card purchase price, less shipping & handling.
  • Returning any two sequentially shipped DVD in a series you've received. We'll refund your credit card purchase price, less shipping & handling, and you'll be unenrolled automatically.

VIDEO DOWNLOADS:


Q. What computer requirements are necessary to download and view videos?
A. Your PC needs to have Windows 98 or higher, Internet Explorer 5 or higher and Windows Media Player 9 or higher installed.  You need a minimum of 110-145 MB free hard drive space per download.  You should be running a high-speed internet connection.  Nearly all current PC's meet these requirements.  Mac users click here.


Q. I'm having a problem downloading or playing the video I purchased.  What do I do next?
A. Your first step is to visit our Troubleshooting Q&A page and see if those suggestions fix the problem.  If you're still unable to solve the issue, you can send us an email or call our Customer Service center at 800-625-2666 weekdays from 9:00am - 6:00pm Eastern to speak to a representative. After-hour & weekend inquiries will be answered the following business day.


Q. Can I pay for a video download with a check, money order, or purchase order?
A. No, all video downloads must be purchased using a credit or debit card.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.


Q. How may I use my downloaded video?
A. Each downloaded video you purchase is licensed for unlimited personal viewing.  You may download your video on up to three separate computers, allowing you to watch it on your laptop, your desktop at home, or your work computer, whatever is most convenient.  However, you are not able to make copies or burn the videos onto disc or other transportable media.


A. Will the video downloads play on my Macintosh?
A. Currently, video downloads will not play on a Macintosh running OS X, however newer Intel-based Macs have the capability to run Windows software either in Apple's free BootCamp, or using an Windows-emulation program like Parallels or VMWareFusion. As long as the minimum requirements are met, your Mac will be able to purchase and play downloaded videos. Another option, while not a download, is to purchase a DVD disc if your Mac is equipped with a DVD drive.


Q. May I get a refund for a video I downloaded?
A. No, all video download sales are final. Before making your download purchase, we suggest you watch the preview, which is available for each title. All previews are approximately 2 minutes in length and include actual excerpts from the full-length program. You can also call Customer Service to ask any questions prior to your purchase. If you are still unsure about purchasing a download, you should consider purchasing the DVD version instead, which comes with a 30-day return policy.

CE TESTS:

Q. Will I be able to review my test history?
A. Yes. Each time you log in, the CE Test Center will display the tests you've taken, any tests remaining for you to take, and printable certificates for the contact hours you've earned.


Q. How many contact hours are available with each DVD? How much do the tests cost?
A. All of our DVDs and video downloads offer 2 continuing education contact hours per title. Each DVD includes a practice test on the disc, however the actual CE Test needs to be purchased online at our CE Test Center for $12 per title. Downloaded videos are bundled with the online CE, so your purchase of the each video download includes an online Practice Test and CE Test...at no additional charge!


Q. May I practice before taking a CE Test?
A. Each DVD includes a Practice Test on the disc. A CE Test purchased at our CE Test Center includes both a Practice Test and a CE Test for 2 contact hours. A downloaded video includes the online Practice Test and CE Test in the purchase price.


Q. How do I receive a CE certificate?
A. When you pass a CE Test (scoring 70% or higher), you can print your certificate directly from your computer on any printer. Our CE Test Center manages your test history, so you can log in at any time and print any certificate on demand.


Q. Must I complete the program evaluation in order to have my test processed?
A. Yes, your evaluation of the appropriateness of each test is a necessary part of maintaining our accreditation.


Q. Who accredited Blanchard & Loeb Publishers to issue contact hours?
A. Blanchard & Loeb Publishers, Inc. is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the CA State Nurses Association (provider #CEP 13424), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation; and by the Iowa Board of Nursing (provider #336).


Q. Are the contact hours I earn valid in every state?
A. Most Boards of Nursing with CE requirements for license renewal accept contact hours awarded by an accredited provider that uses the ANCC educational design criteria, which we use. Contact your state board if you have questions about the acceptance of these contact hours for license renewal.

Q. How do I find out about institutional licensing of your DVD programs?
A. DVDs and video downloads sold on our website are priced for individual and/or single classroom instruction only. If you are interested in using all or parts of these programs in learning labs, multi-site applications, intranets, or other distributed networks, please contact Customer Service at 800-625-2666, or email us at email us for information and pricing about our institutional licensing program. 


 Q. How will my order be processed if I am tax exempt?
A. If you are tax exempt, we will need to have your tax exempt certificate on file before we can deduct taxes from your order. Please call customer service at 800-625-2666 for more details, or fax your certificate to 866-439-4233.


 Q. Do you accept purchase orders?
A. Yes. You can fax your purchase order to 866-439-4233 or mail a hard copy to our customer service center:
